Sauvignon Blanc should be pure in color; very light with maybe a hint of green hue. Our 2014 Judean Hills Sauvignon is just that. Its color hue defines fresh. On the aroma is a bouquet of floral and slightly green sweet notes; bright in the nose and alive. On the palate, brisk acidity frames lovely layers of figs and minerally Sauvignon grassiness. A perfect sipper and so satisfying.
In Israel, the Judean Hills region grows some of the best Sauvignon Blanc around. The vineyards we source possess soils which are of limestone and mixed with gravel. These growing conditions produce a full green canopy and luscious grape clusters that when fermented, are floral and reminiscent of gooseberry and grapefruit.
